Leezone didn't take 4 years of calculus, he had to take the same class 4 times to pass it.

Is it too much to ask to get some accurate dimensions?

It might sounds ridicoulous but i have to say it:
If it wasnt for this forum and few members like Lee, Tony, Diki and few other i would
have very boring days sitting in my studio nor enough reasons to laugh...

that CANNOT be correct as this would make it even smaller than the XD3

who the heck is measuring these things?
can we get some ACCURATE info?

Leezone,

is it so difficulty to copy simple text from one homepage to this forum. The dimensions are:

53cm x 33cm x 13cm

...the same dimensions as written in the official Audya4 brochure. I have one of it, as I was today in Frankfurt. Yes, it is smaller than the XD3.

BTW, more functionality does not automatically mean bigger size!

I guess you still will not belive it, so you should wait until you can take the dimensions by yourself with a measuring tape.

Joe

Leezone,

XD3 is only a little bit smaller than the Audya4.
XD3 has about 55cm x 35cm x 12 cm, i.e. from the height the Audya4 is even a little bit higher. BTW the Audya4 looks better in real than on photos. I like it.

Yes, they showed and played also the Audya4.
I saw at least 4 of them on the booth.

Additionally I got following information:

Audya4 and Audya5 are based on the same HW as the Audya. The only difference is (appart from the keys)

a.) The 16 tabs on Audya4 and Audya5
b.) Audya has a Digital SPdif In / Out,
Audya4 and Audya5 not.

They told me with OS4 Audya4, Audya5 and Audya will have the same functionality (appart from the above mentioned differences)

They told me also that memory exppansion is also possible for the Audya - depending on the production date. But I guess it is also possible to upgrade early Audyas with a new sound board.

Availability of Audy4 and Audya5: June this year - stated in one of the videos on the Ketron homepage.

Leave it out 53cm is the same lenght has a PC keyboard, it's for a one handed player, sorry, someone who plays with one hand! In those terms it should be half price. You all said you want something thats easy to just throw in the car, here it is, you play right hand only the KB works out the chords for the lefthand, WOW.

Leezone - Were those years spent doing calculus the FIRST four years of your life?

It's obvious from other threads that you can't even count to two (2-1=1 is a valid equation!), so these huge numbers you are dealing with are difficult to grasp once you run out of fingers and toes, aren't they?

Just keep it simple... bigger than a bread box? Smaller than your head?

You might get less easily confused..!
