Hi George,(and others) My name is Gene Campbell and I swapped emails with you
over a year ago regarding the SD3 arranger.
Our Church has finally decided to do some upgrades to the sound system
and add a video system and have agreed to add the arranger.
You said that you have the SD3 two different ways, (With hard drive
and vocal harmonizer, and without}
I was wondering just what the hard drive and vocal harmonizer does??
any info that you can give me will be appriciated.
thanks: Gene

Hi Gene,

the vocalizer can be used to add harmony parts to your single voice. example singing throught the sd3, and your playing a c chord and sing a melody line, the vocalizer will add you voice but at the different tones of the c chord

the hard drive can be used to store data, like midi files, regs, and so forth

The hard drive also makes finding and playing midifiles much faster than only using the floppy disk drive which is includeded in both models but now a days very outdated. In your church, do you have a midi keyboard which you can plug into the SD3? If yes you can use the module and if no you should be looking at a keyboard with all the arranger features.

Thanks George and Frankieve,
I have a Ketron Solton MS 60 that stays there and the Churce recentlhy purchased a Kurzweil
Mark 152i baby grand. http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/Product.php?id=100
I am somewhat dissapointed
with the Kurzweil's useable rythms as they are not even close to Ketron's which is why I'm intrested in the arranger.
George, I emailed you at the store if you didn't get it please email me -
gmc (at) nctv (dot) com *use approiate symbols for at and dot.
I would be very much intrested in your current prices for a Church.
Thanks Guys:
Gene Campbell
