Best little and inexpensive (well under $200) speaker system I've used is the Logitech Z-2300,,,perfect for keyboards...just the right amount of bass without being blatty or tubby, and quite loud as well. I use one on my PC and also on my PSR-S910 and T3.
The Roland KC-110 might work okay for busking, but the one Fran got, the 330, would be the better choice.

Ian, you are truly right about the Logitech. I have two Z2200s, one on the computer, and one in a bag for small jobs. I also have a Z5500, but it's doing surround sound in the living room. Unbelievable value for the dollar. BTW, I loaned two Podium 802s and a small Behringer mixer to an acquaintance about a month ago, and now there is not a trace of the guy OR the gear. DonM Sorry Diki, in hindsight I hijacked your post, sorta.

What impressed me about the Logiech Z-2300 was the quality...both in how they are mnade, and the sound. I was hesitant buying them, but once I heard the quality of the sound, and the nice oomph they had, I was sold. A buddy of mine has the Z-5500, and they are awesome...he uses them (at home) on a Tyros3, along with a Yamaha Stagepas 500...definitely an astonishing sound, but overkill for my simple needs. I think the Z-2300 would work very well at a nursing home gig, if you had stands for the satellite speakers. That's too bad about the Podiums and the mixer...I've never seen Podiums, let alone played through them...Fran thinks they are super. Ian
