Sadly, I can't go, but what a good place/event to convert to a DonM appreciation party?

Let's all send our BEST thoughts Don's way!

this is great BUT

will the AUDYA have OS4 installed?

if not, then there won't really be much new @ Shreveport...?

Unfortunately, we have a long standing commitment for that weekend which could not be changed ...
I KNOW I will be missing a great time ... PLUS, I could have fought for Don's share of Ernest's food ...

Yikes? Is it a trade show, or is it just an opportunity for friends and colleagues to gather in friendship to network?

Bet you there'll be a bunch of new tunes, a bunch of new food and drink, and a great time had by all

Oh, and by the way, is there ANY topic that CAN'T be turned into a Ketron bashing opportunity? Let me know, so I can start it, please...

I dunno, Diki, but I bought an Audya and it will be here soon and I can't wait! I'll have it at the jam, unless it crashes, haha. I also have an s900. And a psr2000. And gits and kazoos.

My kazoo kept crashing. But I kept it because I didn't want to be a bother to the nice people that made it (badly!)

I hope you all have a great time there, and I hope someone sits down at the Audya and makes it crash that has enough wits about them to remember what they did to make it crash..!

But, more likely, it will behave fine, and you will all wonder what in the hell these guys were talking about!

I'm looking forward to pictures and audio... Enjoy!

Since I got OS 3.0 my Audya has locked up one time, several months ago. I was playing with a style while simultaneously making changes to style part sounds and effects, hitting foot switches and variations as needed, and using the vocal harmonizer on/off from foot switch. It didn't crash and it didn't quite playing, but the screen locked, maybe like the processor was too busy. I finished the song, hit the Exit key and it was o.k. again.
That's as close as I've come to it crashing. If it crashes tonight, I'll let you know. I no longer take a backup keyboard to the job, just laptop.
The Jam is to exchange ideas, see each other's techniques and have a good time. The Ketron distributor and/or AJ may attend. I hope so, but that would be icing on the etoufe.

BTW, my Yamaha s900 locked up the other day. Screen said "unknown error." Rebooted, all was well.
