Would Diki really go on facebook, no it can't be the real Diki we know. If it is it's a cool photo. If it is Merry Christmas Diki hope you are keeping well.

Cheers

Guilty as charged...

But I'm afraid I still haven't got the whole Facebook 'thing', yet. Lord knows, if I REALLY want to waste any more of my precious time, I prefer to come here..!

Welcome back, Diki. Lookin' good, mon! That hat, whilst bearing no resemblance to a chicken design , does resemble one worn by a jazz great whose name escapes me. I'm thinking Sonny Stitt for some reason. Mind you, I've seen photos of Moammar Gadhafi with summat similar. Oh, that's a bit gauche. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Diki.

Hey, man...good to see your smiling face.

I feel the same way about Facebook...mostly a waste of my precious time.

Good to see you back on SZ, too.

Ian

PS...That hat looks a bit like a Joe Zawinul special....cool!

I tried a chicken hat, but all it was good for was playing Bird...

Hey Diki,

Are you playing anywhere regularly in your area January? My wife and I will be touring the sunny south, and would like to stop by and see a performance during the trip.

Welcome back. Happy Christmas. You look a lot better than that Marley pic you've been using.

As if my a$$ hasn't been roasted in my absence enough already, anyway! But it kept the house warm through a couple of cold snaps (cold by Florida standards, anyway!)...

Good to be back, I just hope we all can get back to talking about arrangers and music without as much rancor next year. That's my New Year's wish, anyway! Reasonable men can agree to disagree without getting personal about it, at least, that's what I've been told. The 21st century doesn't seem to be bearing that out, sadly

Let's see if we can make a difference....
