Hi guys thanks for the thoughts and prayers from all the zoners. There is no doubt this works, as my prognosis keeps improving. All my research says pancreatic cancer is very debilitating. I have lost most of my vocal capacity and strength but it’s coming back slowly. Don Mason came by to help me with my keyboards and vocals, what a friend. I start radiation and chemo this week the Doctors said this should give me more time than I expected. Of course good old Gary Diamond can pick you up when you need it most. Once again thank for your support.

Thanks again HankB

Hank and I hung out for a while yesterday and played with his keyboards. He has made an unbelievable turnaround in the past week. There is a tough battle ahead, but we'll all be there to help in any way possible. Even his voice is getting stronger again.

Hank, recovery and rehab can be challenging. Keep with it and best of luck. Stick around, we're not that bad a group, are we... May God continue to bless you.

Hank, we've never met but judging from the outpouring of good wishes, I'd say you were deserving of it all. Hope this has the absolute best possible outcome.

So good to see you posting again, Hank. I know you have a tough "row to hoe" ahead of you... but you can do it. Keep at it, friend... one day at a time. And yes, it helps to have friends like Mason.

Best wishes and continued prayers,

Dave Rice

I picked up Hank today and he went with me to the job and helped me totally reorganize my setup, using his Apex keyboard stand. He made me hide all the cables, clean the bandstand, and then we e.q.'d my system trying various mics until we found a combination that hid my voice enough to sound acceptable.
I took some photos tonight and if they are any good I'll stick 'em up.
Thanks Hank! It needed doing for a long time and you inspired me.
Radiation and chemo start tomorrow, and I know it will be successful!

I talked with Hank last night, his attitude was positive and he is doing quite well. He and I both agree that Don's setup needed a bit of cleaning up and organization. The last time I saw it there were so many wires on the floor it looked like someone dropped a bowl of spaghetti under the keyboard. I suspect that I'll be making him a console sometime in the near future.

Good luck, Hank and I'll talk with you soon,

Gary

Hank and Gary formed a conspiracy with my wife, I'm sure.
But I must grudgingly admit, the setup is not only attractive but functional.

Now THAT'S getting personal! You have to have all your STUFF on the golf cart and in the boat. I'm thinking about getting a trailer to pull behind my golf cart so I can take more stuff when I play.
The necessities: 20 or 30 clubs, a few dozen balls, sweaters, rain suits, extra shoes, towels, ball retrievers, sunscreen, first aid kit, extra gloves, hats, GPS, cell phone, radio, tools, extra battery cables, tow rope, mosquito repellent, heater or fan, ice chest, notebook for writing bets, extra pens, pencils, ERASER (most important), ballmark repair tool, sand bottles for divots, box of tees and extra score cards, drugs (aspirin, Tylenol, Aleve), snacks, umbrella, insulated drink holder, camera and small spinning rod/reel in case the course backs up by the pond. I have actually used every one of these items during a round of golf.
Don't get me started about what's in the bass boat!

BTW Hank, sorry about hijacking your post.
Hank is at the Oncologist right now getting his first radiation treatment.
He is waiting on delivery of ONE pill that costs more than $2,000, to get the chemo started.

Hope to see you soon, Hankster. Now, go buy something from MF. So I can play with it. Then Don can buy it. Then, three months later, I'll buy it from him.

I love you guys. Keep buying stuff. Heck, I'm there with you. I got mad at my printer today and bought a $400 gizmo. Now, I have three printers. Maybe one of them will work right.
