i own the Xp-50 and i am unable to record in realtime. i hit the sequencer button then hit record and leave it at Wait Note. it won't recognize that i am hitting and as a result doesn't begin recording. i have tried recording using wait note and count in but to no avail. is there any setting that i have missed or any sort of configuration that i should have in order to record realtime performance?
thanks for the help.

The only thing that I can think of is that you have local turned off in the System:MIDI menu! Also check that if you're in performance mode, the LOCAL switch is on for the part that you're trying to record on!
If this doesn't work, then heaven knows what's going on!

Hope this is some help!
