Being an NFC fan, I root for the NFC team over an AFC team ... I was happy to see the Saints win that game, because when Miami was winning, my son-in-law - BIG NE Pats fan - made a ridiculous comment about how the AFC East dominates the NFC ... even though the stats show otherwise ...

Yea, Yankees!!! I've never seen so many Red Sox fans in the Boston area where I work become Phillies Fans overnight!! What a team those Sox led the division most of the season.........that's why I've called them the Red Flops for years.

GO IGGS. I never liked baseball, anyway...although I have to admit, it's a good motivation to learn Spanish. Don't read anything into that, it's just that, not following baseball that closely, I couldn't help but notice what seemed like a disproportionate number of 'imported' players, mostly from Latin America or 'the islands'. Similar to Blacks in the NBA and, to a slightly lesser degree, in the NFL, but in those cases, they ARE 'home grown'. Which raises the question, has baseball lost it's popularity among American youth? If so, why? Game too slow? What? How do it's numbers compare to say, the NFL?

Yeah, I'd feel SO much better if I thought you really believed that. No supprise though, that YOU'D be the first to respond. My question had more to do with the importation of players for what used to be 'America's Game', and whether this might be an indicator of a declining interest in the sport among our young people. BTW, there's a difference between Race and nationality (well, maybe not in S. Jersey).
