Congratulations on your purchase. The Pa2X is a huge upgrade from your Pa80 and you will be very happy with it.

Sorry can't help with the Monitors your looking for due to the fact that you are looking for universal PSU's.

Just a internet etiquette tip for you thoguh, it's considered rude to type with the caps locks on. It's deemed as shouting or screaming at people and it will at some point get you into an argument with someone.

Regards
James

So 61 keys and built in speakers wasn't all THAT important after all?

Oh, and trust me, James, having caps lock on is the LEAST of the rudeness that goes on here..

They may be more than your budget allows, but I find the Mackie SRM150's to be quite excellent stage monitors. They may be more than you want to spend, but you can always start with just one (in all probability, most church PA's will be in mono, so hearing stereo for yourself is no big deal) and add the second later.

The thing that swings it for me is the sheer variety of connectors on the Mackie's - 1/4", XLR, RCA, pass-through jacks, phantom power, high impedance input for electric guitar, and a full 3-band EQ. It really is a Swiss Army Knife for monitoring purposes, plenty loud enough (150W), and has a handy mount on the underside for mounting on a mike stand.

I've got two, and they have been invaluable, not just for me, but if another player has any kind of monitoring issue, I can easily loan him or her one, and it's problem solved!

Without a small sub, I wouldn't even consider them for a small PA, in fact, I've never even been tempted to TRY them so far in this role. But for what you describe you need, they sound perfect. Perhaps the Podium 10"s might work, but they are much bigger and don't mount up as easily. Plus there are varying reports about their reliability. Mackie stand by what they make, and are easy to get serviced (not that I've needed that...)

They ARE multi-voltage (100-240V 50-60Hz), so that solves that issue...

Give them a try.

Oops! Confused studio monitors with stage monitors. Sorry!

I use Mackie HR824's at home, but I'm afraid that's a fair bit outside your price range (but killer if you can ever afford them)...

"While many people think writing a subject or electronic message in all capital letters makes their messages stand out from the rest, nowadays the opposite may occur. Many people look at such a practice as amateurish, and doing so may decrease the level of respect the intended recipient has for you. Others may consider using all capital letters the same as shouting, and such a practice is considered rude."-Horatio Alger
