Some S900 Styles are not present on the newest S910. Styles like RockGtrBallad, PopShuffle, PopNewage, PopSalsa,IrishHym 1, PopEnka, LimboRock and some others. Those who upgradded from the S900 to the S910 have succeeded in loading these styles to the S910?? Those styles, which are on the S900, are missing on the S910. Can that be accomplished??

Yes, but it's better to load T2 voices onto your USB. These take advantage of some of the extra voices the S900 has.

Larry how is the display view on the new S910 when sitting low in a chair and play ...is it bright and legable or does it lose clarity and brightness like the S900 does?

Did all your S900 registrations and styles load properly with no problems in the new S910?

How easy is navagation to get to the Mp3 player, song search, etc?

Sitting here in my store the 910 is clear from any angle. When I had the 900 here, I would constantly have to readjust the contrast so I could see it at different heights and I had a hard time making it just right. It was either too dark or every box blended in too much. Now, with the 910 it is clear all the time and as sharp as the Tyros3.

When you hit the USB dedicated button you are in the USB audio transport screen. At the top you can see all your main folder choices and at the bottom you see the play, stop, pause, fast foward, rewind, repeat mode and there is a tab called files. When you hit files, you can see all of your choices and pick whatever song you wish to play. After you select it you hit exit and now you are back at the transport screen and you can see the name of the mp3 or wavefile you've selected and just hit play. There is also a dedicated volume control tab in this window.
I haven't tried registration memories from the 900 but I have loaded in the MusicFinder file from the 900 which has over 1400 selections. The factory music finder in the 910 has only a little over 100.

George thanx for the info on the display & Mp3 player I would assume you sat in a
"low chair" and saw it bright & clear also correct because that's my main concern?

Display is just fantastic.

Styles and registrations load properly, of course not loading the dozen or so styles that no longer exist.

Some styles have the same name but are different. The Tango on the S900 is different from the S910 and the two Tyros tangos. The Jive is new. AcousticJazz and JazzClub have new intros.

I have yet to load a T2 style that has a voice missing from the mixer or from OTS.

Thats good news larry....this saves lots of time if you can just load your S900 reg/styles into the S910 and your off & running again.

No. When T2 styles are loaded in the S900, they are often missing voices, especially Mega! strings and Mega! bass. Also, OTS's are missing. The T2 has about two dozen more of the special voices than the S910 does. The S910 has about three dozen more special voices than the S900 does + both have a few hundred extra other voices.

Are the Tyros 2 Original styles or are they the converted ones to be loaded onto the S910?? And, if is's the original styles, where could we get the Tyros 2 original styles to be loaded onto the S910?
