I would appreciate directions to any good Music Finder databases for the s900. The one I pulled off PSR Tutorial has so many European songs on it. I need something more in American Songbook tradition. Thanks in advance for all your help.

ps - I'm posting instead of emailing all my s900 friends because I'm on my way to the hospital to be with my sister and family as her husband goes thru triple bypass surgery today. Pray.

Cass I never use the MFD at all vs registrations...so I can't help you with that....it's navigational & saving limitations are useless for my needs.....maybe some day Yamaha will wake up and include "ALL Registration" into the MFD for easy list style access .....Kudos big time to KORG for having this.

Good luck with your family at the hospital also.

Cass,

The MFD is a wonderful tool, and there are loads of them on the PSR Tutorial site. The best part of this is you can convert any or all of them to the S-900 format using Michael Bedesem's latest version of Music Finder View. You can download a FREE copy of his program by clicking on the LINKS tab at the top of the site's homepage, then click Style Manager Series. Using the same program, you can custom make your own, personal MFD on your PC, then load it directly into the keyboard using the USB drive.

Good Luck,

Gary

Gary, thanks for all of that, great stuff! I thought there were a lot of MFD's on psr-t too, but i could only find two - a Beatles one and then the one I got off one of the download pages, but that one has way too many European songs. I'll go back and look again; I'm sure I looked right past the others.
