Was never a big fan of folk but was a big fan of Mary and the group.

She was at the heart of a sincere music and political movement which changed things for the better for future generations.

I must be going nuts - I thought I posted the comment I'm about to make already (but perhaps I didn't Submit it) - anyways, I'll say it (again):

I didn't see footage of PP&M until relatively recently, and I must say, Mary mesmerized me!

So much commitment and SOUL and passion.

She would've gone great in other music Genres like Motown - seriously.

I think of PP&M (at times) as the first "Soul/Folk" Act.

RIP.
