AJ,

Good to see you back in the fray, from threads there appears to be lots of people on the side line watching the progress of the Flagship Audya, there were problems with OS when it was released I am on my second KB and there are still lots of problems with the latest OS.

You appear to know more about Ketron than any other person on the planet - perhaps more than Ketron, AJ what is the full forward plan for Audya, if you don't know tell us all and then we can only assume the Ketron are bumping along the bottom and don't know what the future is, there is a lot of Chinese whispers going about the Audya as if it was a love affair, it’s far from that with me and some others.

Can you put any dates on progress with Audya

Regards

Tony

AJ are you there.
I am with Robbo on this ....
Can you tell us how long it will be for us to get new styles for the SD5 and an updated op/system that includes saving the octave / double etc into registration memory as it does with all other makes of keyboard. (great sounding keyboard but we need more backup.... don't just forget about improving SD5 users experience because of the Audya.)

Tony,

When you say plans, do you mean features? I cannot really disclose the features to be released on this product in future updates, but I can tell you we are resolving some of the issues current users have found with their units as we are listening to what is going on in the field. As has been mentioned already in previous posts, OS 3 does have some great features which open up the keyboard even more to end-users such as being able to assign AUDIO/WAVE DRUMS to your styles or ROM styles.

As for more style development for the SD5/SD3 series, it hasn't yet started so I cannot really put a date as to when it will be completed, but I'll keep you posted. Realistically, don't expect any in the next 6 months!!

Thanks,

AJ

Wow AJ six months, a lot people on here appear to think OS3 is around the corner, I think if Ketron don't get the bugs out of 2.0C their sales will take a knock, lets have a 2.0D get all the problems out of the way and imporovement can wait.

What do you think AJ.

How did Korg face up to thier problems on the PA2x does anybody have any info!!

When OS 2.0 came out had few major bugs, right away the same day i waged WW3 with Jerry here
in USA and some of the engineers in Italy... 2 weeks later 2.01 came out and everything got quiet.
Same thing with M3, 2.02 or .03 came out and few bugs, i waged another war, James was part
of it, 2.04 came out and they fixed it.

But weren't you one of the many people very unhappy with version 1.x even threatening never to play Korg again and then running over to the Ketron Camp ?

I don't think he was referring to OS 3.0 to be released in six months, it sound more like new SD5 styles in six months.

yeap, and people seem to forget the major fill-in bug that Korg still has since the release of the PA80 from the year 2000.

You hope - AJ hasn't replied to confirm that - we all think OS is around the corner but who knows with KETRON - KETRON are an enigma rolled up in an enigma, a law unto themselves! Even the Good Lord himself couldn't sort them out was he still alive.
