Check out these Pa2xpro styles demos on this site. Drums and bass sound very "live"

Yep,
That's Keith Ball's site...and yes, the PA2XPO is great for live play and sounds superb with good speakers and the master EQ setup correctly.

Master EQ is actually OFF by default!

I guess Korg expects everyone to set it up according to the room/speakers ect. Maybe they don't want it on and defaulted to some setting that would detract from the sound...not a good decision IMHO! It should at least be on and have some basic default as some flks take a long time to discover the master EQ.

SO, if you ever play on in a shop...and want to hear what i really sounds like...don't forget to setup the master EQ (simple to do).

When I first played a PA2 at Sweetwater...I thought the sound was just OK, then I bought it, took it home learned all about it, setup the maser EQ and POW! what a sound.

Frank,
One thing to remember about keyboard buying decisions...TRY IT FIRST.

Just because many others like it...does not mean you will.

I can tell you for sure though...if you are used to PRO synth's you will like the PRO features on the PA very much. It is not designed to be a home keboard.

Too bad this guy decided to save his MP3's in the worst 128 kbit/s I ever heard. I can't see how you can tell that the bass and drums sound "live" at this "quality".
