Hi Dave,
there's at least 2 PA588 owners over at Korg forums ( probably a lot more that don't post).
A lot of the stuff to do with style editing, sequencing etc on PA2X /PA800/PA500 also applies to PA588.
There's a heap of stuff that has been disscussed, it's a pretty active community.

best wishes
Rikki

Question to PA588 owners...would this be a good board for a church worship team?

How easy/fast is it to call up and move from one favorite saved sound to the next?

Can you go from one sound to the next while holding a chord without the sound hiccuping?

Is there a transpose button?

How easy to layer sounds?

I guess my main concern is that this board is well-suited for live playing.

Thanks for any response and thanks for your time.

Tim

Tim

Before delving into a detailed answer, a little more info is required from you. Do you intend on using the arranger or smf playback abilities of the PA588? Or are you in need of something that just has good sounds with easy/quick access, and the ability to layer/split sounds?

The PA588 may be a perfect choice, then again in may not. List how you intend to use an instrument and what features are important to you and then it will be possible to offer a qualified answer.

Best Regards,

Dave
