We're leaving for NAMM first thing Friday morning-it's the only day off I take all year. We should be on the floor about noon. First thing I'm going to do is see if we can locate an extra ticket or two and then call Rory. Really looking forward to meeting a real "hardcore" musician. He was in Fargo and moved to where I'm sure he's at the top of the heap, talent-wise.

Don't expect much, but it will be a time to slow down a bit and enjoy a visit with one of my favorites around here. I have recommended him as an endorser for Burris Amps. He'll have a chance to visit with Bob Burris on the floor. At least, if we can locate the unused tickets he will.

I let you know what I see early next week.

People say the economy is really affecting the show. George says even Fender, one of the keystone exhibitors is not showing up. I was able to get a room at the hotel attached to the convention center 3 weeks out. Never could do that before.

Don't expect much but a relaxing trip.

James, it would be a hell of a trip, but you'd certainly be welcome.

Russ - have a safe and fun trip! If you pass the Yamaha booth, ask them when the PSR-S950 is coming out.

Wishing you a very speedy full recovery and a fun time at the show!

Hi Russ,

I wish I was there. This is the first time in many, many years that I haven't attended, the last 12 years or so being as an exhibitor.

Have fun and be safe.

Best Regards,

Dave

Looks as though the new ones will be called PSR710 & 910
See reference in the text below the pictures
for the 910 (the link for that is not live yet)
