Diki

Why we can not do something together.

You need to play one style on your G70 (only simple intro, variation 1-4, fill in and ending). I'm asking you only, that you post here mp3 in 256 kbps and original roland file. I will convert it to LS and than I will make same in qranger. Than we can make comparison.

I'm really happy that you are cooperating on this forum.

You want the arranger audio to play just one chord? Which chord would you like? And by 'original Roland file', do you mean the MIDI derived from making the audio example, or the original style file? (I think you mean the latter, but I'm just making sure).

I am VERY grateful someone is finally taking me seriously here... If you think the MS is the better arranger, and can do what I need it to do, providing an audio example to back it up is the only way to convince somebody. There has been four years of 'trust me' on this forum, when the only thing ANY of us trust is our own ears (most of those rabidly 'defending' the MS haven't actually GOT ONE, they just HOPE it is what they want it to be)...

I am on the road today, the G70 will be back in the studio tomorrow. I'll get on this as fast as I can...

Thanks, Magica for not turning this into yet another theoretical, theologian argument about angels dancing on the head of a pin... The REAL WORLD is where I play music

I will be very interested in learning which VSTi's you intend to use, and if you can, please track how long it takes you to do the conversion.

Diki Thanks,

I understand you DIKI.

Please I need only one style. This style can be played with one chord or with severally. (Would you be so kind and say me what you use inside)

I need only style that i can convert. (G70 format)

If I will convince you in my approach I will be really happy. I do not want that you see me as one promoter of MS. I'm user of MS. I will be really happy if you will understand what I'm playing. I like this instrument as you like yours.

I know that you are not understand me as native English speaker but I hope that you understand me 10%.

Diki thanks for help.

Hi,
if the style actually has to be converted,
is it done thru EMC??

If so, I've had hassles with EMC removing controllers in some formats & multiple tempo changes in Intro's & Endings.

If you are using EMC, does the version on MS have the same problems??

best wishes

thanks Rikkisbears. The last post on that thread still looked quite hopeful. I really hope that Diki and Magic Alpha complete this experiment as it would anser so many questions and we could actually have a practical example of what can be done on the MS and can compare it directly with a standard arranger. It would be such a wasted opportunity if it has stalled.
