Nice!
Although I don't play very much Latin mysef, in my ears they are well
balanced and good sounding.
Again, sounds like the same band playing when swap styles.
Btw, did you adjust the drumvolume down a bit, or is it presets Frank?

Looking forward to next episode.

All levels were factory, but they are extremely easy to adjust, I'll show in a video

thanks Frank,

LATIN is where the AUDYA shines
that's great because i play lots of it

the reason it sounds great is because of DRUMS and some good style programming by real latin musicians

these are very close to the real deal, not like Roland's Latin which in my opinion suck.

sounds like same band playing?
of course it's just like any other keyboard, any other band,
its the same AUDYA
change style on your G-70, T3, etc, it will resemble in sound.
go see a band play, the "sound" is what it is, it has its characteristic

the Bachata, to me was not great, that strumming guitar is not quite right ;-)

but man, i LOVE the latin on this,
Salsa is superb, merengue good, the bossa is unbelievable,

thanks again Frank

Disagree totally, but that's in a personal perspective (or view) of course.

Not many other keyboard brands that I know about, if any at all, manage to or maybe
they simply won't do it like Ketron does.
While switch styles, patterns, rythms or whatever it's called, it sometimes sounds like
you're playing a totally other arranger, even volume/balance are so different that you
jump in the chair. You may have to adjust a lot before dare to gig. Not so with Ketron,
at least not SD1, and now I can hear similiar status with Audya. Just take it out and
play it as is, you'll make it through the night with no problems.

When I say "same band playing" it's the overall impression, a kind of a singature as we
clearly can hear by Franks demoes.

Cheers

What didn't you like about the bachata 2:44-3:06? I bet that it was the riff in variation D that was playing.

Riff mode seems a function that is SO close, but no cigar...

Preset chords? What is with THAT? From now until eternity, you switch on the Riff for that style, no matter WHAT song, it's the same damn chords... Yawn

Why couldn't they have allowed YOU to specify the chords? Or, even better, why not allow you to capture them on the fly, and play them at the touch of the Riff button?

As good an idea as this seems to be, it could be SO much, much better with some simple additions. Right now, it is a gimmick. But it would need so little added to turn it into 'The Chord Sequencer Rides Again', which is a sequel I have been waiting for FOREVER!

And I would HAPPILY pay Ketron's inflated price for this feature alone...
