First of all, I don't know squat about mixers - never had a need for one. Bose wants $500.00 for the Tonematch unit which I have been told is a lot to pay for what a real good mixer can also do.

Taking that info as a fact I want to know what everyone here would suggest for a very simple but high quality mixer to use with a single keyboard and two Bose Compact L1s. The smaller the better.

Also, for you Bose gurus - what does the Tonematch unit offer that a really good mixer can't.

(Hope I don't start a firestorm here)

I would also consider Behringer Xenyx FX mixers, 802, 1002 or 1202 depending upon needs. And Phonic is also a decent product. Mackie is always a good choice.

How many inputs you need? You doing a solo, or a full band or duo, what?

You need external effects, or are you running your voice through your arranger's FX?

I don't know about everyone else, but I MIGHT need to know these things before I made a recommendation

I only play solo with a keyboard using two outputs.

Not really concerned about external FXx.

Hammer, why do you need a mixer if you are just using the keyboard..Your keyboard has eq, and a mic/effects too....forget the mixer..

My point exactly... What's the mixer for? Doesn't sound like you need one.
