anyone have any advice on which hard drives are good for audio recording?

please give me info on:

RPM
brand name
IDE or SCSI

Avoid the IBM Deskstar 75GXP series though, they're lemons from what I hear.

I use a Deskstar 60GXP and it has worked great since last July.

what about SCSI HDs?
from what I've heard they're quite good at saving cpu power and are much faster, although the price is a bit steep.

10000 rpm SCSI, of course. I'm using a 60GB 60GXP, no problems yet. The 75GXP is cancelled or something.
