THEY are enjoying playing it, Bill. But are YOU enjoying listening to it?

I'm just asking because you LOVE to post this stuff, but rarely offer an opinion about it. Honestly, why not offer your opinion before others have too...?

Hi Diki

You and others have been asking for songs from users of Wersi instruments, and so I have just posted as I find. (If you like you like, if you don’t you don’t, however which ever way it is, it wont make the slightest bit of difference to Wersi ownership, as it is the owners personal choice)

As I have said many times, the only way to find out if Wersi is for you is to try them, and play your own style of music on them. (There are plenty of Wersi owners in Florida, who I am sure would let you try their Wersi, just contact www.wersimusic.com for details)

In addition, the world is a big place with a myriad of music styles, and just because a style doesn’t suit you, it doesn’t make it any better or worse then your style.

As to my personal opinion, some I like some I don’t, however my personal opinion doesn’t make them any worse or better then others.

BTW if it helps to move things forward, a lot of Wersi owners in the US moved over to Wersi from Roland, (Arrangers and Organs) with the most numbers in Florida. (Must be something in the water)

Regards

Bill

Nice collection, there, Bill. The Brett Wales one was amazing! He's a real pro...

I did find it interesting that the only one of those with what I would call acceptable drumming (realistic sounding... even the electronic Wersi drums failed to impress me) was the Roland. Maybe down in lower Florida (I live close to the FL/AL line up in the northwest) with all the retirees, they don't WANT good drums.. It might induce a heart attack

But from visiting, the main thing that was in the water down there was scotch, and arthritis medicine! Oh, and chemical runoff from the sugar plantations...

It would be fascinating to hear what Brett could coax from a Roland, too... Just as he could elevate the sound compared to what a 'home' player could do on a Wersi, perhaps your opinion of Roland Atelier would rise when voiced and played by such a master of the instrument...
