I've always liked Dennis Deyoung. He was a big influence. There is a behind the music episode from vh1 on how the original band (styx) had a fallout. They weren't too nice!

Yes, I thought DeYoung was pretty cool...the band was in it's heyday when I was out gigging back in the day...one band I played with covered this tune, but our singer didn't do it as much justice as you did....you nailed it!

We actually did this tune with our band 'back in the day' ... I sang lead but had to lower the key a bit ... played the 'hook' on the Rhodes, using a wah-wah pedal ... in those days you didn't HAVE to sound EXACTLY like the record ...
