Met with a surgeon this morning. Starting cortisone injections next week. If that fails, going surgery to knock away some spurs. This stuff hurts like hell everytime I play keys, either standing or sitting. The canal is about closed and my nerve is pinched, big tme. (4) Norco pain pills today didn't touch the pain today. Anyone with similar experience?

I feel your pain. Been battling back problems for years. It's not so bad these days, maybe because I don't load HEAVY gear all the time any more.
I don't have any advice, just sympathy.

I can only imagine...

I guess it's a good job you didn't stick with the G70 after all!

You might want to revisit that S900 or E50 again...

Zuki,

I understand Chiropractic treatment is not for everyone. It has helped me thru the years with my occasionaly back problems. Have you considered that option or is it not an option?

Jim, I have recurring back problems from a motorcycle wreck in the 60's. "Ain't" fun.

Hope you get things corrected or at least manageable.

Thanks everyone. Pain Mgmt Doc next week for the first injection - praying this works! Taking pain pills adds a whole other nasty dimension that I want no part of

Been through the oxy pills, the injections physical therapy everything but surgery. Only thing that helps is Chiropractic and moderate exercise ..but it's not easy.. been 14 years now.
I know people that did surgery and never walked again and I know people that did surgery and went out on the jet ski a month later....how do you tell what's best for you?
Good luck
