Well folks the Media Station has arrived, and it is an impressive bit of gear let me say.

Dom deserves every accolade for his work and passion in producing this keyboard.

I have only managed to scratch the surface, in the few hours I have had it, and whilst it is TOTALLY different to any other manufacturers OS, I can already see how much better this unit will be, for me.

I planned nothing for the month of March (its slow anyway) so I could get a good four solid weeks of learning into the MS.

Once I have my head around it properly and have learned how each of the sections works, I will post a full review on SZ. The good, and anything I find that is not so good.

Anway, time for school (MS School!!)...More later.

Dennis

Me too...

I am sure that finally we have an MS owner who is willing to illustrate his opinion with some soundclips.

Congratulations.

Best of luck, DEnnis! I'm sure you'll tame the "beast" and help others along the way.

All the best,

Russ

Patience...

To be blunt, attitudes like yours are not conducive to one's willingness to share information.

This is a massive keyboard and apart from the fact you use black and white keys, the way it operates is so far removed from anything I have used. And I daresay anything you will be likely to use as well.

So perhaps a little more patience and effort in trying to understand what I am offering to do for people would not go astray?

Yes?

Dennis

Take your time man.., don't feel pressured by other members here. You got a lot of keyboard under your fingers to learn MS is probably unlike anything you've ever used too. Take the time.., learn that puppy.., share your opinions when YOU'RE ready.

1 2 cha cha chug,i have my reasons for such!
After almost one day with my first EVER KB
i had an abundance of impressions. At this point i need to be proved inaccurate,as i have been waiting for someones feedback post 2005,so thats quite a patient dude whom writes this!

Take your time, Dennis. No problem. I wouldn't imagine many people being comfortable and familiar with a 'closed' TOTL arranger after only two or three days (mind you, hitman only needs an hour or so!)...

BUT.... if it turns out to be forever (what most others with MS's on this forum have taken ) our opinions are likely to remain the same

I think he's going to give a good honest review on the MS. We just gotta be patient. Seems to me that he has been just as curious as the rest of us..., only he was more brave than the rest of us and took the plunge

Lee it is the X76 Expanded, with the 3.1 OS that loads up the Live Styler module.

What I am planning is a multi part review, rather than TRY to bundle it all into a single post.

Part one, which is basically just first impressions and my opinion of the hardware, will be posted soon.

Hi Dennis

Points to note

When you have written the review, do not post it straight away, have a break and then re-read it. (You would be surprised how many errors creep in on the first draft)

Don’t rush the review.

Don’t be pressured into posting before you are ready.

Look forward to the review.

Regards

Bill
