The demo went very well, AJ showed off some of the new features of the Audya, and some of the old stuff revamped.

Looks like the Audya will have a folder including the older SD sounds, with some re-worked SD1 styles for the Audya.

Most of the sounds are very close to the SD series sounds, except the new sounds like guitars and such that have a very good upgrade

The styles are very good, especially the guitar strums, and with the AI turned on you have almost automatic sub variations in a variation.

I was able to play some styles and they were very good, the chord recognition was without any hiccups.

It's very fast, no delay in loading of styles or sounds.

There are allot of nice improvements, more to come

the velocity is monitored and changes the way the styles are played.

a harder hit will change a strummed guitar to an arpegiated.

There is a mix bewtween audio and midi parts ex

bass drum is midi, the hi-hats and snare are audio

the vocalizer sounds great with dedicated gain, volume of mic, and volume of harmonies

the 6 outputs are can been used as stereo outputs, so there are actually 12 audio outputs on the Audya, with the ability the not lose their individual fxs

Frankie, are you saying that the bass drum is Midi in all/most of the Audya drumkits?

I assumed that all the kits would be all Audio.

In the examples that AJ showed, it made sense since the bass drum wasn't really doing anything that needed audio streaming for. I'm sure there are some styles that use full audio drums, but I don't think it would be necessary since the outcome is pretty much the same
