about Module, as per AJ, does not seem likely ever, as he or Ketron do not think the demand is there.

i would prefer a module myself...

So Leezone what did you think of the Audya....? is it me or there's really not much enthusiasm after this Arranger fiesta?

secondly....what does the other big 3 have to do with the price of the Audya?...doesn't it do things the others cannot & doesn't that warrant a higher price?

module? Hmmmmm? maybe in the year 2020

As a part-time performer, I will be using the Audya,

it puts together everything I've been looking for.
- 76 note keybed
- dual wav/mp3 playback with crossfade and bpm mix
- great vocalizer
- great midi file playback
- amazing styles for genres

Will there be bugs? of course, can I handle them? I've always done before.

But I have to say I'm feeling very good about an arranger I can grow with and learn, and cover all of my wants and needs.

It's not going to be for every one, it's price is justifiable if you try to create the same combination with other components.

But it's not Yamaha or has that Yamaha sound
It's not Korg, and unfortunately Roland sounds like they are going in another direction.

( from what I have seen and heard, my judgement can change after release)
I completely endorse the Audya, as the cream of the crop

I have to agree with you on the Audya, from what I heard and saw on videos and from what other people told me who seen it in action, like yourself. I see the Audya having so much potential and I really hope that it does well. I'm excitied for people who purchase one. I believe that I will end up buying an audya, but I have to weigh in the price vs my gig load. If not, there are plenty of other Ketron pieces that I can do very well with also.

The Ketron Distributors did mention I was one of the first on the list to get the Audya, unfortunately there are limited quantities on this first run.
I have 5 potential buyers but they are waiting for me to get one and really play it out live to see if there are any hiccups

Why in the heck...is the price not annouced?
Is it rocket science? They got to know right now how much it will be.

I would also prefer a module. that way I can use the PA2 and the Audya without having two complete keyboards.

Are you willing to pay $3000.00 + for a Audya module?

Frank,
I just searched and found some thread from Italy. In particular a review from a fellow that has been using the Audya to play out. It is a long review and I will try to litterarly translete its content. But in a few words he thinks that althoug the instrumnent has a lot of potential, as a product he feels that it is not mature yet.

He also mentioned that the live arrangements sound unbelievable althoug he suggested not to change the time of them as the loop do not move well with the time and you start to hear 'strange' things.

He also mentioned about the piano sample lacking some presence, but that may be due to his taste and perhaps amplification, although he mentioned that the other sounds were fantastics.

Its memory stick actually locks the Audya.

More to come...
Claudio
