I have just purchased a brand new Korg SG-proX, but this one lacks a great many sounds, so I need a sound module. I've heard a lot of great stuff about thr JV, but I've never tried it myself.

If anyone could send me a few words about their knowlegde of the 1080 and their experiences and/or thoughts, I be very grateful!

I yogi!

The 1080 is one of the best synth modules i've ever used and heard. Of course there is 2080 but really, if you don't need 3x efx and other additional onboard stuff, you're on! Sound quality is excellent and it's easy to get familiar with the module's functions.

All I can say is I love it!

Yes, the JV 1080 is excellent, Great Brass, Drums, synth sounds, etc. I´ve been using it for Jingles and tv comercial spots, it never let me down
