WE have frost heavy enough that it looks like snow on all the roofs for the last 3 or 4 days. IT has been in the mid to high 20's here in Sunny California, and yes the sun is shinning and that is the reason for the frost.
Now we are gonna get some rain and then we send it your way to make some more snow for you that are East of us.
Happy Christmas to all from Bebop in Sunny California

got a guy to plow the 80' driveway ...

Just came in from shoveling the walkway ... about 15 feet long ... had a good 12" of snow ... took it nice and easy ... the snow was pretty 'powdery' ... forecast is for more snow/freezing rain Sunday, and VERY low temps on Monday ... had to get the snow off the walk before it was 12" of solid ice !!! ...

Fran,

It's the same Deep Creek Lake. Beautiful mountain lake that's about 3-hours drive time from my home near Bel Air, Maryland. It's one of those places where you can get lost in the mountains, enjoy beautiful scenery, or just kick back, prop your feet up and do nothing. Several great restaurants, good freshwater fishing, and there are a couple excellent ski resorts overlooking the lake.

Hi Guys - Gary and Bill - Having grown up in Western MD I am glad to be here in FL....the temperature will near 80 today. We bought the house in FL in '95... but have spent every Xmas in Cumberland MD w/the Mom-In-Law. This year we twisted a few elbows and brought her to FL - so this is our first Xmas in FL.

Still have lots of relatives in the Deep Creek area. Here is a link to the webcams in the area (you can see the lake and the ski slopes on the WISP resort adjacent to the lake).

Technology is amazing! Several of the web cams allow you to steer the view.

I went to school at Frostburg State College (also a webcam on this site)...and dug my car out many a time from the commuter parking lots.

Wishing all of you a terrific Xmas and New Years!

Randy
