I setup & Midi the unit with my E60 KB no prob.....I set the FX reverb to my needs eg: hall......all works great.....

Then I'll play a few chords and stop and for some unknown reason I lose the reverb that I setup.....if I just turn the FX knob a little it returns ....but the same thing happens over & over again I need it to stay with the reverb I set up......any clues?

Hi Donny,

Just make sure its not the E60 sending a default CC 91(rev) which resets rev to 0. Or a preset level that is embedded as saved data in a style/smf and which will also alter the rev setting you have on the harmony m.

Remember its only the harmony m receiving (RX) channel you need to remove/block it from, as the harmony m receives on one channel only.

Although its probably better to block all transmission of CC's, particularly as you don't use an external sound module/keyboard.

If I remember correctly you can edit one of the "Midi Setups" to block transmission (TX) of the CC data, and this can be set to the default setup at E60 startup.

Ok now its working correctly it seems the computer needs to analyze my playing & singing and sync it up together......so after a few songs its now working like it did previously on my other KB.....

Im still awaiting an official answer from TC Electronics too....stay tunes and thanks for your help.

Be sure you disable Control Change commands on the Harmony M. Manual tells you how.

The first thing to do is to perform a master reset. This is done by holding down he Manual and Voice2 buttons for 3 seconds while plugging in the power cord. The Harmony will boot normally after the memory is initialized.

Also, did you set the midi channel correctly for the new keyboard--this is important. This is done by holding down the A/B and On buttons until the lights begin flashing, then play a "C" chord on the keyboard. Then press the On button a couple times until the lights stop flashing.

The program Change Receive On/Off should be turned off, which is done via the Tone button. When the tone button is lit the Harmony M can receive program changes from the keyboard.

donny, as i also use a E60, i am interested in harmony m, and i might buy one, since everybody is happy with it. what channel did you set to send midi from E60 to harmony? does it work with any keyboard real-time parts (up1, up2, lwr)?

The Harmony M will automatically find the right midi channel for you by holding down Two buttons A/B & On/Off when it flashes you simply play a chord & it will recognize it.Great unit.
