Donny, the Pa2X is 5lb lighter than the Pa1X, just below my 40lb limit.

Thank you for the info, I thought so looking at the slimmer design....love the tilt screen too.

I have a nasty feeling most won't be singing that song in five years or so, when they start to break down (probably in the UP position!) and the cost of repairing it out of warranty comes in..

Are we all so tired that raising a screen BY HAND is just to onerous a task..?

Imagine the man hours spent on that 'feature' devoted to something that could actually improve how it SOUNDS

Motorized IM not impressed with........TILT is what I like to resolve many lighting blindness situations. I I had a Pa2x & it broke who cares I'd just yank that baby up manually and stick a pencil behind it to prop it up!!

I'd be happy with a fixed screen and seven fills...

Diki, there is a manual release, if the motor fails you can adjust it without the motor. If worse comes to worse you can leave it in the down position. From my recollection( of a former owner of the G70) the angle of the Pa2xPro in the down position is the same as the G70.

It is a gimmick, don't understand why they devoted the man hours to it either???

no. I think everything you heard was the stock PA2X before OS 02
