IN MY HUMBLE OPINION with only 70 plus years of experience in all phases of music from student to teacher to music store owner to professional musician over many, many years, the finest collection of music I have ever heard.
It will be totally impossible for a non musician to believe this music with vocals is created by only one person, with an accompanying vocalist on some of the tracks.
Donny, this is truly the finest I have ever heard created by one person.
I now totally understand why nobody wants to post their music on this forum because it would have to be compared to yours. I don't think there is anyone here that can top this CD content.
You should have signed up for America's Got Talent and you would be a millionaire gigging headliner in Las Vegas.

Bill, I've heard one cut only from his CD, it was an MP3 file of the tune "Islands in the Stream" sung as a duo with his daughter. Great piece, as I was listening to it my wife asked who is that knowing it was probably a SZ member. When I replied, " Donny with his daughter" she said wow what a wonderful job they did on that tune!! I'm sure the rest of the CD reflects that quality.

I just played this cd in the car with it's 6 speakers and just me so I really turned it up and it is just awesome.
I sure hope everybody gets to hear one or all of these songs as they are so well done.
the female vocals on some of the tracks are just beautiful. I understand one of the ladies is Donny's daughter and she has POP's Talent too.

Ok, I just sent the CD to the local Providence Journal music critic we both listened to it and here's her reply along with my thoughts.

I've had the opportunity to listen Mr. Pesce's music in the past with a CD he called " Swinging with the Big Bands" One thing is for sure Donny is at home singing big band and standards as he is with music from the 50s, 60s as well as Sinatra tunes. His daughter from my understanding is a Hip Hop singer. This critic is of the mindset that singing with the older Pesce is the way for the younger member of the family to go. She adds that extra touch of class, that makes for a well rounded performance.
Great work, no question about it. Donny look forward to next year's release.

Thank you every one for taking a listen, it was a fun demo project for a "home recording" using minimal equipment, Tyros, TC Helicon Hm, Mixcraft 4 vs the Studio. Working with my daughter on a few tunes was also worth the time & effort alone. I tried to use the arranger KB in every way possible. I hope other will interchange their work too because we ALL learn from sharing my friends

DNJ: Hey dude, see that you've included my signature song "As Long As I'm Singin" in your latest CD. Outstanding rendition which I must admit tops mine for sure. Apparently I'm not on the A list either, but I did manage to get hold of the mp3 "Islands in the Stream." I must say, Donny, that that is one excellent home production. Everything sounds so smooth and balanced. If the other cuts are that good, then you have a real winner on your hands. Good luck, and keep up the good work.

I handed my CD to my mom, she is really loving it ! She use to sing in the USO..

Dan....WOW! that really makes me feel good. I love the older movies watching the Andrews sisters sing at the USO clubs, Bob Hope, etc, etc, .....without them to lift the spirits of our troops life in the service could get a bit depressing being away from home.I think I'll play Apple Blossom Time tonight on stage with the TC VH unit oh yeah!

Donny has been in this business just about all his life and you can sure tell it. If you are lucky enough to be over in New Jersey, then go see him at the clubs and tell him Bebop sent you.

You can also buy his new CD release directly from him at a very reasonable price. It has 17 tracks on it and a couple of them are shared with his daughter Mandy and her vocals are just as good as his. In my opinion it is worth a lot more then the small amount he is asking for it.

Check it out. You will be glad you did. I just finished playing this Cd through twice and even though I have been a musician for 72 of my 77 years, I have never heard anything I liked more then Donny Pesce One Man Band Music with vocals.
