My head is starting to split with all this T3 hype hooopla its starting to border a brainwashed CULTISH atmosphere with no regard to what else is on the market now or in the future!!! Someone Please tell me the Ketron AUDYA is coming to market VERY SOON....I have to get excited into something else...............

I spoke with Ted, the U.S. distributor, yesterday. He hopes to get them around the end of this year, but he doesn't know for certain, any more than we do.

I don't know. What I HOPE is, that they are getting it right and thoroughly testing it before offering it for sale. No new release is perfect, but in the past few years there have been several new totl keyboards introduced with serious flaws. The Roland G70 and Korg PA800 come to mind.
It took completely new OS updates to make them playable. But at least they listened to users and made the adjustments via software.

Perhaps a bit dramatic, but are we actually witnessing the demise of Ketron?

That would be a sad thing.

They are a small company, relatively speaking, and they must be hurting with all this R+D..
They cannot be selling all that many SD2's and 3's of SD5's to recoup the huge cost of the Audya.. And even now, it is still "maybe" with the release dates..

As I said, I hope not, but it's looking more and more possible with each passing month.

I don't think this is the demise of Ketron. They are small and their US sales are not great but world wide I think they do ok. Remember a small company doesn't need the volume of sales a company the size of Yamaha does.

Your not alone there is such a loyal disheartened following only wishing that Technics keyboards RETURN someday to the market place!!

This is too bad, Ketron announced the keyboard over a year ago. Maybe Jan? any word on the price?

On top of that due to their delayed release someone like Roland might steal all the Audya thunder with a New TOTL G70 replacement which will have all the same feature and more !

I too, think that is entirely possible, in fact, probable!

Sadly, I don't think that will ever happen, but just imagine what a KN that would be at
next year Frankfurth Musik Messe!!!

Would be nice if Roland made a successor to G-70, but to me it looks like the arranger
keyboard market is slowing down, just as we could see happen to organs some years ago.
And as everything is about profit, that again are related to large sales, who knows what
happens........

the price are sure high according to what seen on several webpages, 55000 N.kr, now
lowered to aprox 50.000, that is in US $8334 at todays rate 1$= 6 N.Kr.
