Hello, In the last post I wanted to know which one is the best - PSR-S500, Roland E-09 or DGX-520.
You told me that the winner is the S500.

I went to the store and had a look over the S500 (688$), S700 (1,180$), DGX-520 (690$) and DGX-620 (1,005$) - all the prices were converted from NIS (Israeli coin) to US Dollars.

The S700 is off the list because it's price.
I liked the DGX-620 because of it's hard(piano-like)-keys, very genuine piano sound and 7 octaves.
The DGX-520 looks the same, except only half-hard-keys and less genuine piano sound.
Does it worth the price difference?

The S700 looks very good too. It's sound is like the DGX-520 but the fact it has only 5 octaves isn't so good for me, though I can handle it.

I don't know which one to get.
Thanks !

Which one do you like the best?

That's the one to get...

I was in a Guitar Center this afternoon, they had the DGX-620 in stock. I played it briefly, but did like the action very much on it. I owned the 520 a couple of years ago. I would pick the 620 over the 520. But as Diki pick the one you like. Good luck with your decision.

Ok, I had a chance to play on a piano like the 620, but in earlier version (502 or something like that) and I decide that I want a 7 octaves organ.

So it's or the 520 or the 620.
I managed to find only two difference: 1.better piano sound, 2.hard(piano-like) keys instead of half-hard.
Are there more differences between the two? because the price difference is huge!

The "harder" keys on the 620 are more representative of a "real" piano. If you are not a piano player you may well find them uncomfortable to play for long periods until you build up some strength in your arms. The mechanism required for this type of keybed is more complex and heavier than the lighter "synthesiser" type keys; this is the main reason for the cost difference between the 520 and 620. The 620 also needs a stronger case to handle the extra weight of the keybed.

Regarding the sound, I always thought the 520 and 620 were identical electronically and had the exactly the same sounds and facilities.
