You know what the first user mod to this is likely to be? Especially organ players....

Paint the damn sliders the right color for Hammond drawbars

I find the brown black and white slider covers on the G70 of enormous value, not JUST to being able to grab the right drawbar for the organ, but also to guide your eye to the right slider for parameter adjustment, too. Nine identical sliders (and they still look pretty short throw to me) makes it tougher to find the right one in a hurry on a dark stage, IMO...

Er... you want to do the math there again, Donny?

That's about two thirds, not a half

$5599 - 33% = @ $3750.

$5599 - 50% = @ $2799

Those ARE street prices, aren't they?

It IS about 1/3 of an Abacus, though!

But it's a lot more than the TOTL Yamaha AND Roland WS's with 88 piano keys and all the options. It is also well over $1500 more than the 61 key versions of either...

Does anyone think it is $1500+ BETTER than a FantomG or MotifXS?

Doesn't matter what it costs, doesn't matter if it sounds pretty much the same, doesn't matter if they haven't learned 10% of what their T2 will do...

SO much easier to buy a new arranger, and sound a LITTLE better, than to work a bit harder at the quite excellent one they already have, and PLAY a bit better, isn't it?

Is that the retail or the street price? If that's the street price that T3's outrageously overpriced for a hunk of plastic unless the specifications far exceed what's been mentioned so far. Somehow I seriously doubt it will be much of an upgrade from a T2 with the exception of a few more SA voices, a bit more polyphony, and some additional effects. I almost forgot... 9 tiny sliders. BFD! My Wersi has 28 real time long throw sliders and numerous other real time controls. And OMG are you ready for this... the Wersi sliders are color coded so you Hammond/Drawbar users know which sliders to adjust! Those Wersi engineers sure are a bunch of idiots giving me all these real time controls that are intuitive to use. What the hell were they thinking?
