I, like others, am interested to see how they have all new drums. If they become like their competitors, it could be the greatest board ever produced.

Yamaha and the other manufacturers always put enough improvements in their new machines to coax owners to upgrade and new customers to switch over. That's the PLAN. They also know that their machine will leave some wanting more. Why would anyone want to make the ultimate arranger? It would be a very long time before those super satisfied owners were ready to shell out that kind of money for another ULTIMATE perfect board. That would put the makers out of business. Planned obsolescense is the only way for this market to stay afloat. So just order your T3; love it or hate it, and wait for the T4... or whatever follows.

I don't agree with those who say "why would anyone want to make the ultimate arranger". Every company who is in competition wants to make the ultimate. With technology where it is today, it is impossible to make the "ultimate" arranger. It will still take many years before mainstream keyboards can hold 100s of GB of samples in RAM.
