If anyone in California wants to check out a Wersi Abacus Duo Pro OAS 7 in person they are more than welcome to check out mine. I'm about an hour from San Francisco, four hours from Los Angeles.

You know, I bet the manufacturers are loving this...

They are too cheap, too lazy, too broke, too stupid to get their own product out where their potential customers can see them and potentially buy them. And what do we do?

We volunteer to act as unpaid showrooms for them...

Their marketing divisions must be laughing their asses off at us!

I think any dealer that gets a sale of a product he does not stock should send a $100 check to the person that showed his customer the product he should have stocked for himself... Many other businesses reward third parties with 'finders fees'. If the arranger industry can't afford to stock their own shelves, this practice should start in THIS business also....

Low Internet prices are killing the retail music business. To many alternate purchase choices.

Donny you and Fran need to take the drive north to exit 40 on I 95 in Milford, Ct. See Frankieve!!! I made a trip this weekend to north Jersey to visit some family. On the way down I stopped to see Frank. He currently has in stock and SD5, Pa2xPro and an s900. He doesn't have an e80. After hearing Frank give a demo of some of the strong points of each board, I walked away reinforcing the fact the perfect arranger hasn't be made yet. As usual each had their strong points. ( love the latin styles on the SD5) BTW Frank has them playing thru 2 Sampson studio monitors and a Sampson sub that did the boards lots of justice!!

If I make it to visit the three amigos later this year as a stop-off to Boston, I'll bring my SD-5. It'll be in the fall if I make it.

Russ ... you may be thinking of the 3 NJ/PA amigos, but you BETTER include a stop in RI ... I am less than 10 minutes from exit 8 off Interstate 95 in RI !!! ... 2 amigos - me and Steve - will be looking for you ...

Be GREAT, Tony. Really enjoyed the time with the members I have visited with. I'll try. The Boston trip is planned but not booked yet. We'll be bringing back engineering drawings and lots of paperwork, so I'll have room for the SD-5.
