Hi Guys
I've been playing round with the import /export function on my PA800.
Basically working on a method that will allow me to convert the odd psr style to korg format without using EMC.

Decided to try a mega voice style rather than one of my psr1500 styles. Only problem is I'm not sure if I got even close as my psr only plays the drum & piano voices. Had to guess at the rest. . I liked the piano intro on the Worship Power Ballad, so I thought I'd try it.

If any pa800/pa2x owner is familiar with the style, could you please let me know if it's even vaguely similar to the original.

Rikki,
Yes I tried your style in my new PA500 and it sounds awesome. Congratulations. When I learn more about my new arranger I will ask you how you do it.

Hi Victor,
glad to hear you liked it & it worked ok on your pa500.

I'm still fine tuning my conversion method.
I actually have EMC (conversion) software, but sometimes it messes a style up too much.
Hence I'm trying to work out a different way of doing it.
It is time consuming, but for just the occasional style that I really want, it might be worth the effort.

Thanks for getting back to me.

best wishes

Rikki,

I went to the AW site, logged in, downloaded a few other styles, but couldn't get yours (worship). It kept asking me to register? Really want to check this out.

Thanks,
zuki

Hi Zuki,
also got it at http://www.createsongstyles.com/forum/index.php?topic=5633.0

If you don't have any luck email me & I'll send it directly.

I've got some of others that I've possibly updated since posting them on sites.
It's still a bit of trial & error with some of the NTT settings. I update them if I find a better setting.

If you get a chance, luv to know if you think my method does a reasonable job of the conversion. There's always room for better balancing between instruments, or maybe better choice of instrument, or better balance between the drums, ie musical side of things which I'm not that good at.
