Im thinking about getting this keyboard in the near future, possibly this summer sometime and was wondering what your opinions are on it. It would be a big upgrade from my current Yamaha DGX-200, I was thinking about getting a YPG-635 when that comes out, but I kind of want something with a lot more features than what I have right now. I tested out the MO8 today and I thought it was amazing. Of course when I get it i'd have to read the manual 50 times though.

It is indeed quite a good keyboard. I don't personally own one, but one of my best friends does and i have access to it any time I want it. My only gripe with it is that the polyphony does tend to crap out quite easily on the layered patches. There is this really nice patch with a piano, an E-piano, and a string layer and you do get a lot of dropped notes. I don't know if you would run into similar issues when using the sequencer, though I suspect you might. I've only used it as a live keyboard or as a single or split instrument in studio use; haven't used the sequencer.

For the same price you could get a refub Roland fantom x8 (counting the $400.00 Roland rebate) and now you have an unbelievable set up but if you need a keyboard to play out this would be too heavy
