All I can say is WOW! Had my all blue setup (Mackie 450v2) and the 800.

My performances were at a new level and the audience feedback was amazing.

The styles, sounds, pads and added instrument dimensions gave me chills. It was awesome to add quality harmony too!

I knew this board was special, but never expected to be this thrilled - thanks Korg.

Sure glad I stepped outside the comfort zone

Two arrangers, both capable of recording what you play on them...

Any chance we'll get to hear what they sound like?

Zuki

It is great to see you all hyped up. Sometimes it takes the right combination to get your juices flowing, for whatever the reason. I feel the same, so we are both winners.

Zuki, nice to hear you're lovin the PA800. Korg has done a nice job with this generation of arrangers. Thanks for the phone call as well, glad your audiences had an overwhelming reaction as well.

Jim, took a while to get there, but I'm happy for you. and, glad that wew had the chance to visit briefly.

SD-5 is still in the case. Been out once, though, and I'm figuring out how to use the Midjay and SD-5 together.

Be well,

Russ

Zuki,

I sincerely believe this is more a reflection of your ability to provide the type of performances your audiences love than the equipment. IMHO the performer is 90 percent of the package and the equipment is 10 percent. Of course, someone will tell me that I am wrong, but this is my opinion ONLY!

Good luck,

Gary

Thanks all -

Gary,

I agree that the performer sells the performance. But I have to say this board is something very special. I just put in another 18 hours today on arrangements and it just keeps getting better by the minute.
I know the audience can tell the difference in board capabilities.

Congrats!

I am glad it's working out for you.

I have 3 weeks left to set mine up. Final judgement will be at a wedding app. 300 people, and JBL PRX speakers.

I have to admitt that I am tempted to buy a VA7 just as a back up . We'll see!

Good luck Hitman,

I really like the Songbook feature for live play. Just make the list and go on down the line. It works great for medleys too - better than any board I'VE had. I sold my 900, so now I'm down to the wire in getting all my songs in the 800. Don't worry, the crowd will love the styles and sounds

Ditto, the Songbook feature is a dream for working live, no question about it. YOu can create custom songbooks on the fly if need be. The transitions/segue from one song to the next are very smooth.
