Hey, got to run but wanteed to share that THE man, David Van Koevering, is here in town and I already spent about 45 minutes with him last night and will be chauffering him around today for errands to do.
He and Dr. Bob Moog co-developed the synthesizers, he made most of the prototype keyboards we use today. He invented the touchscreen on keyboards and I found out last night that the VK in Roland VK organs come from his initials!!!!
Just the 45 minutes with him blew my mind with what he knows.
He is a Master's level quantum physicist and musicologist currently working on a PH.D from Oxford. He should arrive within the next few hours to "hang out" with me.
I'll have a full report after our conference this weekend.
