John, You may want to check with Yamaha's Technical Service Department (714)522-9000. Ask for Steve Demming. He's the best source of information I know of for this one. I have a couple friends that purchased 15-inch monitors and use them with the Tyros2 and they have not had any problems at all. I hooked up my PSR-3000 to a small, flat-screen TV and it worked fine with one exception--the bottom of the screen was clipped. When the 3000 was connected to a small DVD player everything displayed perfectly in both the NTSC and PAL modes. Hope this helps, Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy

Bernie, The T2 has a monitor output, while the PSR series only has a composite video output. When using a flat-screen TV or any TV that has a video in jack, be sure to set the TV to TV1 or TV2, whichever works best. If you just leave it on the TV mode, go through the antenna and tune it to channel #3 the results are marginal at best. And, you can get interference from outside sources that also use Channel #3 as well. Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy
