I forgot to upload a song called "shoreline" to my website at esnips. Your welcome to have a listen. Some interesting production with this song... I used isolated guitar strums from one 8 beat style and isolated string parts from a "movie song" style on the SD1.

The original style is "tribal age" on the SD1. My thinking was add a little pace to a slow tempo song , by overdubbing the guitar & string parts.

are some of my favortie lyrics I wrote...

Sorry, I overlooked this post earlier, until you mentioned it again.
It sounds good. Very innovated use of styles.
It's not the kind of music I'm "into", but I can appreciate well-done work, regardless of the genre.
I had forgotten about the Tribal Age style. I'll have to load it into the SD5.
Thanks,
DonM

Dan great job as usual.....love the tribal style & groove against the echoed vocals....it reminded me of the backing music to the fantastic shows of
"CIRQUE DU SOLEIL"

keep it up & good luck!

I'm going to take a 2nd and thank a keyboard artist that I became friends with. Her name is Laurie Z (she passed from breast cancer) ....
I sent some recordings to her , approximately 7 months prior to the songs now on my website. She totally blasted my work... After her critique, I refocused my energy and really concentrated on production, as well as the song itself.

All of my recordings, good or bad, are a tribute to Laurie Z.. www.lauriez.com RIP

Thanks for sharing Dan! It sounded really good and the vocals came through very well in the mix. The SD1 drums, which I really like, give the tune some added punch too.

Best,
Mike

Hey Dan..
What board did you use? Nice tune mate.. Like the way the vocals meshed back and forth.. I know how difficult that can be.. The mix was nice and the strings coming in where good..
Enjoyed the listen!

Very pleasant song! Loved in particular the contrast between the percussions and the acoustic guitar.

Ketron SD1 ....

I do appreciate the comments.

My father in law has a condo, near the beach in Clearwater Florida.... While on vacation , my wife and kids would go to the beach every night to see the sunsets..

Such a calming feeling watching sunsets..

When I was putting the song together, I could visualize a video production...

Hey Dan, I actually saw the sun RISE a few times when I was younger. Of course it was because I was getting home a little late from the night before!
