I find alot of people (including me , of course) are trying to make this decision. mainly I guess for a kinda entry level synth, thats got good features, but is also user friendly.
Please be kind enough, you guys in the know, to post your thoughts and opinions here. Also, feel free to mention any models you would recommend. Thanks!

these are two totally different machines. First the SH201 has 49 keys compared to the JunoG's 61. Next, the SH201 is geared more to be like an old analog synth where you go and tweak lots of knobs and create your own kinds of sounds. You won't find sampled sounds such as piano's, sax, trumpets, etc. You get analog type brass and string sounds like we had back in the late 70's and early 80's.
The JunoG is a modern day synth, with sounds that are sampled such as acoustic pianos, trumpets, flutes, violins, Organs, etc., but also have synth style sounds as well. You also get a 16 track midi sequencer and a 4 stereo track audio recorder. This is more a production studio/live keyboard if you only want to own 1 product. The Sh-201 is more an add on keyboard, unless all you want to do is create sounds.
I own a music store in Southern California and I stock both of these keyboards so my evaluation is based on my hands on experience with both.

yes, I have an s90es, so this is really an addon. I guess in that respect I should be looking at the SH201. However, that begs another question: SH201 vs. jp8080. This one I think is a toughie and may come down to personal pref. What are your thoughts?

the jp8080 is from 1998. There is no USB and the data storage is with smart media cards(very dated). The SH201 has USB and a voice/editior CD which comes with the unit. The engine is pretty much the same (10voice polyphony, external synth control, etc.)
