On my PA1X I can record to the hard drive and create a midi file - can that midi file be sent to my PC while playing where I use Audacity to record it and convert it into a MP3 file?

Deane,

Yes, just connect the standard audio outputs to your computer's line-in, select Line-in on Audacity, then record in the standard way while the midi file is playing.

Got a PA1X yesterday - still figuring out a lot of stuff. Will keep the PSR3000 though - it is a great board too and my first.
