I must admit the Fantom X has a superb piano...also I believe this same sound is in the Roland G70 which also is one of the best.

These pianos are the ones others are measured against.

I thought the Korg OASYS a bit overpriced for the quality of it's piano sounds...at least according to the demos I heard.

Ian, your right. The OASYS 76 key is $7299.00 USD. However, this keyboard is fully upgradable as it is completely software based. It will never be obsolete; at least that's what KORG says.

Bill, I agree that most sounds and piano's in particular are subjective. But I like Piano sounds on a synth in the same class as a Hammond B3 sound. You absolutely know when they nail the original sound....you just know it!!
