Don't know if this qualifies as musical, but at a stretch, and a very long one at that, I received, among other things, a Homer Simpson musical beer bottle opener from which, as soon as it touches the bottle cap, Homer's sonorous tones sing, "Ohhh, Beer! Woo-hoo".

Hmmm . . . didn't think that would cut it, really.

I got a Yamaha FC7 expression pedal; just what I asked my secret Santa for. Got the Eagles new 2-CD album too. My choir gave me a tie, musical note socks and $$$ .

I was seriously thinking of spending my various $$$ gifts to purchase a Zen with recording capability, but have decided to dust off the MiniDisk and use the stereo mic my daughter bought me a few years back.

Nothing like being able to 'google' the lyrics to the next tune or check your email in the middle of a performance. Gosh, wish I'd thought of that.

That's quite the instrument, very unique looking!!

Well, I got my musical toys pre-Christmas, but after reading Bernie's post about using the SD2 and PA800........ well you just never know. I did get a unique device to pair with my iPod that I use on breaks. It's Timex Ironman watch that can remotely control the Ipod. Not only can it come handy during breaks but also works very well in the car on the commute and when out on the road jogging or walking.

I got my long-awaited Squackers McCaw. It is great EXCEPT that the remote control won't work, even after I put batteries in it.
I'll have to exchange it, but I will wait for a few days.
Also got a 500 Gig external hard drive for my PC along with a backup program. I've been really lucky all these years not to lose anything from my hard drive, so now it's time to protect against that.
Oh yeah, got a $500. bonus from the supper club where I perform!!

I got given a very nice 120 bass Nicolo Salanti accordion (used) from some friends of a friend (!), and was able to use it Christmas Eve for our usual Old Folks Homes Xmas caroling session...

Now I've got to re-learn my LH technique all over again...!

(Oh, and a T-shirt that says '88 keys... 10 fingers... No Problem!'. Cute...)

I got the "Animated Musical Coca-Cola Polar Bear Playing Bass."
http://www.2collectcola.com/page/ACC/PROD/PB/9P7BearBass

Everybody thinks I should set this on top of my keyboard when I play out.
