Hi

Can anyone help me please. I have decided on two keyboards within my price range - but can't choose between the Yamaha PSR640 or the Roland EM50. Can anyone give me advice. I have owned an EM20 and find it difficult and the rythms boring although it sounds good.
Many thanks.

Alan,
I have a very strong opinion on this one. buy the Yamaha! The Roland doesn't have anywhere the features of the Yamaha. The Roland doesn't have a 16 track recordable sequencer, only playback of midi files and you can't program your own styles like the Yamaha does. The effects are much greater on the Yamaha. Unless you want to buy a Roland EM2000 for about $1295.00, you should buy the Yamaha 640 which sells for about $850.00. I have carried the roland EM 10 and up and have been very disapointed with their lack of features for their price range.
