HI -i'd like to know after playing technics for many years would it be a good idea to have a fresh keyboard like the tyros-since the kn7000 is not a totally new with many new features.

How about buying both. After you set em up side by side play one every other day . Just before the return policy expires, take back the one that does not turn you on. If you can't decide, stand back and look at them. Send the ugly one back. If both look good to you just remember one of them was mute and could not sing to you until you you hung a couple of ornaments on it that could produce some sound. Decorated trees with tinsel and ornaments are all in season now, so the hang-ons would not be out of place. Happy experimenting and good luck with your choice.

I played for 10 years Technics keyboards and
i agree the 7000 is not so much better then the 6000 so I bought the TYROS because it is
a much better instrument to play on then the
7000 !! good luck with your choice!

This week I changed from an X1,which was and
still is a very good keyboard,to a KN7000.
The KN7000 surprises me every day and is a real topkeyboard.
