The more I see and hear from Tyros2 convinces me this is an amazing keyboard !
Just visited the US Yamaha site with the short (solo) demo of Drawbar-, tonewheel-, rotaryOrgan-, or Hammond-sound including the Leslie effect....WOW !!
This comes VERY close to the original :
Depth, scanner-vibrato, warmth, percussion, Leslie speed up/down.

I sold my Tyros1 yesterday and now the real waiting starts .... I hope 4 weeks or less.

Roel,

Congratulations on your new Tyros.

What demos are you speaking of ? do you have a link? I only saw the one Jazz Organ demo on the USA site.

I had contemplated selling mine b4 taking delivery of my T2 too, but just can't bear the thought of suffering an ENTIRE month with Tyros withdrawal symptoms On that note . . . if anyone here is interested in purchasing my Tyros1 (with HD), TRS-MSO1 speakers, + extensive library of custom software (styles, regs, etc) & Tyros specialty goodies available NOWHERE else), is willing to wait till I receive my T2 (early Nov), and wants a terrific Tyros1 deal (negotiable), please EMAIL me.

Hi Roel: Yes, that was exactly the SAME response I felt too, and that was ONLY an MP3 we heard. Just WAIT till we hear/play Tyros2 LIVE!

As an arranger player, I'm certainly not complaining, but I find it interesting that Yamaha chose to premiere Super Articulation Voices(and before that: Megavoices) on their Tyros arr keyboard line, and not with their flagship Motif series.
