I played the TYRO's at summer NAMM .
I have been playing the TEchnics KN7000 for a few days now .

The TYRO's is certainly getting alot of attention , but the KN7000 is just as impressive looking as the TYRO's .

I have been messing with the Styles of the Kn7000 and find them sum what compariable to TYRO's . The technics multipads are alot of fun to work with .
Plus ..............................

With the KN7000 you get on-board speakers (neatly placed), Equal screen , SDcard capabilites , USB and ability to add sound expansion cards .
The vocal kit may not be up to tyro's or ketron ( haven't tried yet) , but all in all the KN7000 seems like a good value .

Please keep in mind that I have been involved with Yamaha products for many years . I have consulted Yamaha in the past and played the tryo's this summer.

I think some of my points are valid in regards to speakers, expansion, usb + Sd card capabilies at around the same price point .

There is some simularity in styles , particularly the funk , R+B , Gospel styles between the two keyboards . If you watch the onboard demo's , they resemble each others technology .
